Epilepsy in 8yr old son

My son has had seizures for 4 years now. All drs say they are idiopathic. Any experience with supplements and seizures? He has many types of seizures ranging from abscence to grand mal and has many seizures everyday. Any advice, experience or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!!
