Colon Fissures

I have had an on going problem for some time now. It comes and goes. When I have my bowel movement I sometimes get a cutting sensation and there will be bright red blood in the toilet and or on the toilet paper. I have seen a Gastroentologist who ran all kinds of test including looking at the inside of my colon with a scope. He found nothing really wrong, and told me that my colon was extremely muscular and that he saw scarring from fissures. He told me that there wasn't really anything he could do. That it was caused by stress and that if I needed I should take some herbs or medicines to relax the muscles of the colon.

All well and said.. Things like just do NOT happen and are NOT normal. Do you have any products that will strengthen the structure of the colon so it will not tear so easily... Do you have any other helpful suggestions?
