I do have a formula for colon cleansing that does not contain psyllium. The Turkey Rhubarb Formula #1. This formula works in a similar manner to The Herb Finders Original Turkey Rhubarb Formula and is the same price.
Turkey Rhubarb Formula #1 contains:
Barberry, Cascara Sagrada, Cayenne, Ginger, Golden Seal root, Lobelia, Red Raspberry, Turkey Rhubarb & Fennel.
This is the formula we always use when an alternative is needed. It can not be ordered on our website, but may be purchased via e-mail or over the phone.
You may discover that you get a rash when you do a colon cleanse even with out the psyllium. A rash is a common occurrence when cleansing the body. As you remove toxins from the system, you are "stirring them up" and they will attack the weakest point of the body to escape from. When they do, a lot of people will get a rash, acne,boils, or simply feel like they have the flu. It usually lasts only a few days and is not commonly dangerous. The phrase "it's going to get worse before it gets better" is very appropriate in most cleansing programs. Tough out what you can, it is almost always worth it.
