In general you should do a colon cleanse of some sort before starting any additional cleansing. In a situation like this where you are experiencing trouble with gallstones, I would go ahead and add the Ortho Phos Flush to your colon cleanse. If you do not like the one you are using, then I can certainly recommend the Turkey Rhubarb formula from The Herb Finder.
In our complete Liver & Gallbladder Flush the program is timed like this:

Take the Turkey Rhubarb for 1 week by itself to get regulated on it (2-3 bowel movements per day with no diarrhea).

Once regulated on the Turkey Rhubarb formula you can ADD the Liver formula Maiden Barber and the Kidney formula White Mallow. I do recommend using the herbs first to help remove sludge and toxins from the liver and gallbladder before your flush to avoid a cleansing crisis (no fun at all).

Take all 3 formulas for 14 days

After 14 days ADD to the program ½ ounce of Ortho Phos to 1 quart of apple juice and drink it through out the morning.
Do this for 3 days.

On the night of the 3rd day, you drink the olive oil combination, which causes the liver & gallbladder to spasm, and toss off the stones.

You will want to be home the next day to pass the stones… No Social Plans.

Check with your doctor before starting any herbal program.
Be sure to use the complete instructions for the Liver & Gallbladder flush, not just the guidelines given here.

You should not feel tired, sluggish or dizzy when doing a basic colon cleanse. Usually you feel much better and have a lot more energy. You may be cleansing too quickly, or may be allergic to one of the herbs in the formula. With out knowing exactly what is in it, I can’t be certain of the problem.
