liver flush?

I was told by my Dr. that a couple of my liver enzymes came back elevated and a friend suggested the liver flush. My question is this: I have numerous digestive problems including irritable bowel with diarrhea and diverticulitis. I have already had my gallbladder removed. If I take the turkey rhubarb when I already suffer from daily diarrhea, what good is this going to do? Also, because of the diverticulitis, should I be doing the flush, or am I asking for trouble?
