Definition:
      Atherosclerosis is commonly known as the hardening of the arteries, which is a very common disease of the major blood vessels. Oftentimes, it's described by fatty streaks along the vessel walls, along with deposits of cholesterol and calcium. The hardening of arteries that supply the heart muscle, is known as coronary artery disease. Atherosclerosis of the arteries, which supply the legs with life sustaining blood, then causes a condition known as intermittent claudication.

Symtoms:
      When this disease occurs, heart attacks are usually the result, which is the leading cause of death in America and Europe.

Cause:
      The main cause of Atherosclerosis is the improper diet and lifestyle. The incorrect foods are generally used and improper habits of the lifestyle are usually in place. This all needs to change.
